Trashchenko, Ekaterina ; Pavlů, Dagmar (advisor) ; Kučerová, Ilona (referee)
Background Physiotherapy represents a valuable intervention applied to COVID-19 patients suffering from respiratory symptoms. Objective To assess the effectiveness of physiotherapeutic modalities on pulmonary function, physical function, and psychosocial effect of patients diagnosed with COVID-19. Methods A comprehensive systematic literature search of CINAHL, PubMed, Embase, Cochrane library, and Scopus was done to retrieve potential peer-reviewed articles that assessed the effectiveness of physiotherapeutic modalities on pulmonary function, physical function, and psychosocial effect of patients diagnosed with COVID-19. Results Of the 1093 potential articles assessed, 9 met the inclusion criteria. The results demonstrated that respiratory rehabilitation improves respiratory function, exercise capacity, and quality of life in patients diagnosed with COVID-19. Conclusion Respiratory rehabilitation and telerehabilitation programs are effective in improving the functional capacity, quality of life, and respiratory function of patients diagnosed with COVID-19. Keywords: physiotherapeutic procedures; telerehabilitation; functional capacity; dyspnea capacity; pulmonary function.

Tůma, Filip ; Neuwirthová, Svatava (advisor) ; El Ali, Zaher (referee)
Author: Filip Tůma Supervisor: Mgr. Svatava Neuwirthová Title: A case report of physiotherapeutic care of a patient with a diagnosis of external ankle fracture Objectives: The main aim is to develop a case report of a patient after an external ankle fracture. Furthermore, I will try to introduce the problem of ankle fractures, examination methods, possibilities of influencing the fractures with physiotherapeutic methods, to prove the effect of the used methods and to improve the functional status of the patient. Methods: The theoretical part is written with the help of Czech and foreign literature and is intended to describe the anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of the ankle and foot, the stereotype of walking, the diagnosis, classification, healing and treatment of ankle fractures, examination methods and techniques used to influence the condition of patients after ankle fractures. In the practical part, a case report of a patient after an external ankle fracture is developed. Her treatment was performed during a continuous professional practice at the Centrum léčby pohybového aparátu from January 9, 2023 to February 3, 2023 under the supervision of PhDr. Zaher El Ali. Results: It was possible to develop the theoretical part and thus introduce the theoretical background. The case report was...
Physiotherapy case study of a patient with ankle fracture
Olarová, Jevgenia ; Kučerová, Ilona (advisor) ; Křížková, Štěpánka (referee)
Title: Physiotherapy case study of a patient with ankle fracture Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to obtain and process the theoretical knowledge about anatomy and kinesiology of the ankle, phylogenesis and ontogenesis of the foot and about the mechanisms of a traumatic injury. Then there are also diagnostic and therapeutic methods mentioned. The aim of the practical part was a case study of the patient with such diagnosis together with the design of the therapy and its practical application. Methods: This thesis consists of 2 parts, a theoretical one and a practical one. The theoretical part delas with facts connected to the diagnosis of an ankle joint trauma, specificaly anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanice of the joint during walking, traumatology and treatment options. The practical part is devoted to the case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient with such diagnosis. It contains an initional kinesiological analysis, short-term and long-term therapy schedule, therapy itself and the output kinesiological analysis together with an evaluation of the efect of therapy. The practical part was elaborated during the clinical practise at the Regional Hospital Kladno in a term of 8th January - 2nd February 2018. Results: After completing the set of therapies, the condition of the patient was...

Autor Bc. Markéta Vychodilová Title Evaluation of the effectiveness of physiotherapy practice in prevention of falls -literature review Objectives The aim of this thesis is to find out which physiotherapeutic methods and techniques are currently used to prevent falls in seniors and which of these methods appear to be most effective in preventing falls. Furthermore, the work is focused on summarizing current knowledge of this issue. Methods The thesis is processed in the form of literature review and has an analytical-descriptive character. The studies used meet the predetermined criteria. The thesis is divided into several parts. In the first part, which is called theoretical basis, are described mainly physiotherapeutic methods and techniques, which are currently used to ensure the prevention of falls in seniors. The second part, part of the results, summarizes these physiotherapeutic techniques and methods and evaluates their effect. The thesis is concluded with a discussion, which is focused mainly on two basic research questions of the thesis. Results A total of 13 randomized controlled trials and 3 systematic searches and meta-analyzes that met the criteria for inclusion in this thesis were described. Studies, research and meta-analysis show that the following physiotherapeutic techniques and...
A case report of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after total shoulder replacement
Reiterová, Anna ; Novotná, Irena (advisor) ; Vosmíková, Simona (referee)
Topic name: A case report of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after total shoulder replacement. Aim: The aim of the theoretical part is to chracterize the anatomy of the shoulder joint, its kinesiology and biomechanics, then to summarize the topic of shoulder replacement and to focus on physiotherapeutic procedures used in patient rehabilitation. The aim of the practical part is to process the physiotherapeutic case study of a patient. Method: The theoretical part of the thesis is elaborated in the form of literary research. The special part contains a case report of a patient with a total reverse shoulder replacement and is based on practical cooperation with the patient during continuous practice at MediCentrum Praha, a.s. The case report includes entry and exit kinesiological examinations, short-term and long-term therapy plans, a description of the course of individual therapeutic units and an evaluation of the effect of therapy. Results: In the theoretical part I summarize anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of the shoulder joint. I define the shoulder joint alloplasty, history, indications, contraindications, complications and the course of surgery. I also managed to summarize the process of physiotherapeutic care for a patient following the implication of total reverse shoulder...
